“ If you want something you have never had, you have to do something you have never done”.

Share from Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong - Advanced Education Program (AEP) alumnus before leaving to study in Germany with a full scholarship by the German Government.

I came up with Advanced Education Program (AEP) by a chance and even more with luck. One day in 2010, after receiving the results which I slip from college aspiration and read a new story about the first enrollment of students of AEP, the University of Agriculture and Forestry on the school's website, it said this was an amazing opportunity for her, I decided to sign up with two goals. A quick decision, but I still feel fortunate that I gave the most wise choice.
My initial target was to improve my English to serve the learning process later as well as after graduation. Therefore, although my house was not so far from school, I decided to move on dorm right from the first year to be able to learn and to exchange easily with my classmates. By a clear objective, since the first to the second year, I did not encounter many difficulties in acquiring basic subjects which are taught entirely in English. In the first semester of the 3rd year in the university, AEP organized exchange program for students in a semester in Philippines, and I was fortunate to be selected, this trip did not only help me improve my foreign language, but also helped me put a new goal for myself - to continue studying abroad for Masters after graduating, where I can experimece a modern study environment as well as mutilculture of developed country.

As someone who likes to experience, I resumed enrolling The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience through IAESTE in England. The dream of returning to Europe was formed after  this three-month internship.
While I was studying at AEP, I and the entire students was given the best conditions for both learning and research. We also participated in volunteer activities with foreign students, academic exchanges or studied abroad. We also were facilitated to join research work for students from the 3rd year of university. These opportunities have made a major contribution to the success in obtaining my German government scholarship later. With the support of AEP, I went to Indonesia with 6 other students, conducted my final research for final defense. Here, I was lucky to get the enthusiastic support from the Prof. Arinafil and I completed thesis with the highest score. He guided me to study in Germany and helped me with all his heart in the process of making scholarships.
Studying in AEP- TUAF is one of the wisest decision in my life. I would like to thank sincerely and deeply to the teachers of Advanced Education Programs, especially Prof. Arinafil who was my mentor and dedicated in learning process in AEP as well as helping my dream come true. I wish the students from the following courses will be successful on the road to make their destination.
