Philippines highschool students finished their working immersion at AEP - TUAF

On the 18th of January 2019, 28 students from The Bridgewater High School and The Refiner’s Christian High School, Philippines had a seminar to finish their 80-hour work immersion in Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF).

Over the last two weeks, they conducted their work immersion in Institute of Life Science, Advanced Education Program Office, Geo-informatics research Center, ADC Center, Technology Incubation and Startup Support Center, Faculty of Economics and Rural Development, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Technology in TUAF.

During the conduct of their work immersion activities, the students were provided with chances to getting familiar with chemistry lab, geo-informatics technology, getting to know about food production technology and participated in activities of the departments such as creating their own Certificate of completion for their Work immersion, collecting data and creating the map of TUAF.

They also had a chance to experience classes for undergraduate students of Advanced Education Program, make friends with students of TUAF who come from many different countries, get to know about Vietnamese culture, food and people.

At the end of the seminar, each student had shared their feelings about Vietnam, about TUAF and their Work Immersion. All the students showed their appreciation to their supervisors in the faculties where they work and the time they spent in TUAF.

As the students and their teachers will head back to the Philippines on this 18th Jan. We wish them to have a nice trip and hope to see all of them in TUAF for their future study.
