SEMINAR TO INTRODUCTION FULL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENT IN ITALY

  On December 15, 2020, at the Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, there was a discussion about opportunities to improve internationalization for member universities of Thai Nguyen University.

   Participating in this activity on the side of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry with the presence of Vice Rector Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Ms. Ly Thi Thuy Duong - Director of International Program Office, Ms. Truong Thi Anh Tuyet, Vice Director of International Program Office and representatives of Training Departments, International Cooperation Departments of universities: University of Agriculture and Forestry,  University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Education, University of Economics and Business Administration and University of Information Technology and Communication. The guests were invited by the project team of Hanoi University: Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Thao and Ms. Hoang Thu Thuy (leader of Center for Italian Language and Culture and Cooperation Development), Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet (Ministry Department of Tourism, Faculty of Italian Language) and Professor Bui Viet Toan (Training Management Department), who are directly coordinating and participating in a number of projects KA1, KA2 and JMA (Key Action 1 also known as International Credit Mobility ICM, KA2 Capacity Building and Jean Monne Action) under Erasmus Plus. The second session of the workshop also had Advanced Education Program students from the University of Agriculture and Forestry and some parents involved.

Vice Rector Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang gives opening speech at the workshop. He said that these are good opportunities for students, alumni and staff of Nong Lam University in particular as well as Thai Nguyen University in general to access knowledge and cultural exchange in the advanced country of Italy.

   Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Thao as the National Coordinator of MOTIVE and LAB-MOVIE, the Academic Coordinator of JMA Promoting the EU and European higher education visibility among colleges in Vietnam through multimedia communications introduced opportunities to participate and promote cooperation of Vietnamese universities with universities of Italy, Poland and Spain through exchange programs, joint training, KA1, KA2 and JMA projects. Objectives and conditions for participation in the above projects are introduced and explained clearly. Ms. Hoang Thu Thuy introduces specific cooperation programs with universities of Italy, Poland, and Spain and for each university to participate in seminars and opportunities for undergraduate and masters studies for University of Agriculture and Forestry students. Mr. Bui Viet Toan as a participant in the RecoAsia project (Recognition of EU and Asia certificates: code: 609764-EPP-1-2019-1- ITEPPKA2-CBHE-SP) presented about the training association create, types of degrees and certificates of the Italian higher education system to help schools correctly understand the affiliate programs, to avoid errors when signing these programs.

Ms. Hoang Thu Thuy - Deputy Director of Center for Italian Cultural Language and Development cooperated to introduce universities and scholarships in Italy

   Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet, as a member of the LAB-MOVIE project, gave a presentation about the Platform of the LAB-MOVIE Enterprise Needs Survey project. A lot of questions have been raised around writing and submitting projects as well as how to build parallel degree programs, dual degrees, associates, knowledge preparation and soft skills for students before studying abroad. Besides, visiting lecturers are also very interested in universities. This activity initially answered the questions of the schools and more importantly laid the foundation for specific affiliate programs, enhancing the cooperative connection between schools in the future. Through that, the next specific activities have been decided on the working schedule. Specifically, there is an appointment to advise students wishing to study for a master's degree in Italy.

   It can be said that the first activities have promised very positive results. The desire for international integration of TNU schools in general and Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry in particular is on the rise, especially with HANU's willingness to cooperate and support.
