Alumini biography - Paul Ezekiel M. Losaria

Ezekiel or Zeke to his friends, he is an AEP Alumni from Batch K42. Since entering the program, he has always been interested in the field of pollution abatement which prompted him to conduct his undergraduate Research Thesis/Internship (Toxicity Testing on Liquid Fertilizer Wastewater on an Isolate of Indigenous Bacteria) in Indonesia under Dr. Arinafril.

Upon graduating, he landed a part-time teaching position, as a lecturer at the University of Rizal System (URS), Tanay Campus for Student taking Environmental Science, and Forestry Courses. This experience motivated him to pursue a higher degree of education. Coupled with the knowledge he learned during his undergraduate studies and internship in Indonesia, he decided to pursue a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science at the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM), University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD). During his 2nd year under the MS program, he was granted a DOST-ASTHRDP NSC Scholarship for 1 year, (he applied when he almost finished his core courses).

Currently in his 3rd year under the program, he is preparing to conduct his research thesis while working as a University Research Associate II (URA II) under the Environmental Pollution Studies Laboratory (EPSL), Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM), University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD).
