2024 LAOS – MYANMAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

The traditional Laos and Myanmar New Year, also known as Bunpimay – Thingyan Festival (Water splashing Festival), takes place annually from April 13th to 16th. Laotian and Myanmar people often splash water during this festival to wish for luck, peace for the year, favorable weather, and abundant harvests. 

The AEP Office, in collaboration with Laotian and Myanmar students, is organizing a celebration of Laotian and Myanmar New Year to introduce the cultural beauties of Laos and Myanmar to everyone and to foster friendship between Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and other countries.

Event Schedule:

3:00 PM - 3:15 PM: Welcome

3:15 PM - 4:20 PM: Festival

4:20 PM - 7:00 PM: Food court, water splashing festival, and musical performance

Time: 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2024

Venue: TUAF Guest House

***Registration fee is 30,000 VND (includes 1 meal + 1 drink), FREE FOR LAOS - MYANMAR STUDENTS AT TUAF.

Registration DEADLINE: April 13, 2023.

Those who have registered, please come to the AEP Office (Room A104 - Administrative Area B) to pay and receive the ticket from today onwards.
