Sustainable Agri-food Management in Indonesia (SAMI) 2022 is the sixth summer course hosted by the Department of Management – IPB University Indonesia. Knowledge and practical sharing would be delivered by notable speakers from local and international universities as well as professionals in the relevant areas. Participants would also be encouraged to explore and transfer ideas and thinking to get a better understanding of the topics, draw conclusions and solutions for the problems to be discussed.
SAMI Summer course which is designed as 6 days sustainable agrifood management course with input from IPB University experts in collaboration with international universities and multinational food companies and other industries.
This course will be delivered in a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates agriculture, food, technology, business and management science in a harmonized and systematic manner. This approach will serve participants to learn an integrated agri-food value chain from upstream to downstream and from traditional mechanisms to digital transformation in the agricultural sector in terms of production, human resource management, financial management and also marketing issues. This year’s SAMI Summer course will be held with the topic " Building Resilience of Agri-food Systems through Innovation and Digital Technology " which covers the scope of agri-food management in tropical and developing countries using innovation and digital technology to do and improve their operational and business.
