1. Program overview

Biotechnology is the fastest-growing research and development sector in the world. A Master's in Biotechnology involves studies of molecules, cells, and organisms aiming to understand how biological processes work. MSc in Biotechnology will play an essential role in creating and developing methods of production for biomolecules such as vaccines, antibiotics, enzymes, biopolymers, biofuels, and many others. The program aims to educate and create global human resources with high qualities in the specialization and the abilities to scientifically research and the ability to use English to meet the global requirements of human resources. The master aims to form managerial R&D staffs of international standard for biotechnology companies, universities, and research institutions and open the way to realize a Ph.D.

2. Type and period of training

            Training type: Full-time (2 years)

            Number of credits: 60

            Subjects are directly delivered by TUAF’s lecturers and international lecturers from Germany, the US, etc.

 Language of instruction: English

            Location: Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, Vietnam

Final year students have choices to carry out graduate research projects in overseas partner universities of TUAF (in Taiwan, Germany, Australia, Thailand etc.)
