Affirming International Education Quality at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry

The Environmental Science and Management program, under the Advanced Education Program (AEP) and delivered entirely in English at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF), has officially been certified by the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). This milestone affirms the program’s international-level quality and enhances the university’s reputation within the Southeast Asian academic community.

AUN-QA is a prestigious regional quality assurance system for higher education recognized across ASEAN. Its evaluation framework covers comprehensive criteria including program objectives and learning outcomes, curriculum design, teaching and learning methods, faculty qualifications, facilities, student support services, and graduate performance.

Achieving AUN-QA certification demonstrates TUAF’s strong commitment to improving training quality, modernizing academic programs, and promoting international integration. It also reinforces the university’s academic credibility in producing high-quality human resources for the field of environmental science and sustainable development.

The Environmental Science and Management program is designed with an international approach. It features an experienced teaching staff, up-to-date curriculum, innovative teaching methods, and a dynamic, student-centered learning environment. Students are trained entirely in English and benefit from opportunities to participate in scientific research, field internships, and academic exchanges both domestically and internationally, thereby developing global mindsets and strong employability skills.

This recognition is the result of consistent and dedicated efforts by the university leadership, faculty members, and students of the Advanced Education Program Office. It stands not only as a source of pride but also as motivation for continued innovation and quality enhancement, further strengthening the university’s position within the international higher education landscape.
