Traditional Bunpimay (New Year festival) also known as Water Splashing Festival normally takes place from April 13 to 16 every year. Lao people often splash water during this holiday season to pray for good weather, health, abundant harvests and prosperity.

AEP Office together with Lao students at AEP decided to organize a party to celebrate Lao New Year with the aim of introducing the beauty of Lao culture to everyone as well as strengthening the frendship and solidarity between Vietnam, Lao People's Democratic Republic and the whole AEP family.

Event framework:

16:00 - 16:15: Introduction to delegates

16:15 - 16:30: Peace - praying ceremony 

16:30 - 16:45: Thread - tying ceremony

16:45 - 17:00: Lam - vong dance

17:00 - 17:30: Pour water on the hands of revered teacher, elders and ask for blessing

17: 30: - 19:00: Food court open, Water - splashing ceremony and free music performance

Time: From 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
Location: Guest House of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.

- FTer: Yellow

- ESMer: Blue

- AEer: Red

- Other guests: Black or white

***Ticket price for registration from now to Friday is 15,000 VND.
Ticket price for registration after that time is 20,000 VND.
Ticket price already includes 1 meal (five-color sticky rice + 1 glass of lemonade)
