Summer Course TIN 2022: "SUSTAINABLE AGROINDUSTRY: Adding Values to Local Commodities in Rural"

Time: July 4th -29th, 2022

Location: Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia (in collaboration with Villanova University (USA), Colorado School of Mine (USA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (Malaysia), Maejo University (Thailand) and Jendral Soedirman University (Indonesia)

The course will be held through Hybrid Classes and structured in four ways i.e class meeting, immersed field learning, mini project and idea pitching and competition. The students will be expected to have (i) understanding in solving the problems of agro-industrial engineering in the context of economy, environment, society and other contemporary issues; (ii) designing sustainable rural agroindustry through the application of engineering concepts to solve engineering problems through experience-based learning; (iii) realizing the importance and ability to be involved in lifelong learning; (iv) playing an effective role in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
