MEETING WITH DAAD - TUAF MASTER HOLDERS 2021

On May 18, 2022, at Hall A1, Thai Nguyen University of agriculture and forestry, Thai Nguyen University, the meeting between representatives of DAAD Hanoi and 2021 DAAD - TUAF holders was successfully held.

The DAAD-TUAF In-Country/In-Region Master Scholarship Programme was offered to foster strong and internationally oriented higher education systems with the capacity to contribute to sustainable development. Scholarships are granted for development-related Master studies of individuals who plan to pursue a career in teaching and/or research at a higher education institution in their home region or in South East Asia.

The ceremony was witnessed by representatives from Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, including Assoc. Prof Nguyen Viet Hung Vice President of University of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Ly Thi Thuy Duong, the Director of Advanced Education Program. Representing DAAD itself were Mr. Stefan Hase – Bergen, The Director of The DAAD Regional Office, and other elite members. 

At the meeting, Mr. Stefan Hase-Bergen, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung and Ms. Ly Thi Thuy Duong met with the students who received daad scholarships in 2021, Mrs. Duong shared about the cooperation between DAAD and TUAF. In particular, the master's students who received DAAD scholarships presented their experiences during their studies and other activities in Vietnam. Summing up the meeting, Vice President Nguyen Viet Hung expressed his hope that the cooperation between TUAF and DAAD is always close, sustainable and long-lasting.
