Scholarship up for grabs 2021

Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) is one of the top universities in agriculture and forestry field located in the Northeast of Vietnam. We are pleased to announce the annual undergraduate and graduate scholarship grants to $10,000/ each scholarship for the academic year 2021-2022.

Courses:

  • Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management (in collaboration with University of California Davis, USA)
  • Bachelor of Food Technology (in collaboration with University of California Davis, USA)
  • Bachelor of Agriculture Economics (in collaboration with University of New England, Australia)
  • Master of Environmental Science

Opportunities:

All students have opportunities to experience one or two semesters to study or conduct researches in our partner universities in different countries: Canada,                                            Australia, Germany, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and other Asian countries, etc.

Eligibility:

  • Not being a Vietnamese citizen
  • High English proficiency

(holding a degree of a program that is totally instructed in English or evidence of an Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certificate which is equivalent to or above 5.5 score or equivalent English test certificate)

  • For Bachelor course:
  •  Hold a high school diploma
  •  Younger than 30 years old (on February 28th 2021)
  • For Master course:
  • Hold an undergraduate degree
  • Younger than 40 years old (on February 28th 2021)

Scholarship value/duration:       

  The scholarship will be renewed annually subjected to academic performance. The number of scholarships is intended as in total, for all the foreign candidates

    Bachelor courses

  • 01 full scholarship ($7140 of tuition fee and free dormitory for four years)
  • 09 half scholarships ($3570 of tuition fee and free dormitory for four years)

 

 

Master course

  • 01 full scholarship ($5400 of tuition fee and free dormitory for four years)
  • 05 half scholarships ($2700 of tuition fee and free dormitory for four years)

Language of instruction: English

HOW TO APPLY

Required documents:

  1. Application Form (download on the AEP website)    
  2. Certified copy high school diploma              
  3. High school transcript                                   
  4. Curriculum Vitae (with photo)   
  5. Police clearance certificate  
  1. Health Check (HIV, Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis blood test, SARS-COV-2)
  2. English certificate (if not native)
  3. High school transcript                                   
  4. Certificate of live birth
  5. Letter of recommendation

Deadline for submission:

          Tuesday, December, 15th, 2020 for Spring intake

          Wednesday, June, 30th, 2021 for Fall intake

Applicants will be informed of the results by January, 2021 (Spring intake) and by middle of July, 2021 (Fall intake). It is important to visit the official Website and Facebook (link found below) for detailed information. After the communication of the successful admission, the applicants who accept the assigned scholarship will be required to pay a deposit fee of $300 for admission service and visa processing.
