National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) was established in Beijing in 1911 as “Tsing Hua Academy.” In 1956, National Tsing Hua University was re-established at its present location in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Since its relocation, NTHU has developed into a comprehensive research university offering a full range of degree programs in science, technology, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and management. NTHU consistently ranks as one of the premier universities in East Asia and is widely recognized as a leading incubator for future leaders.

Eligibility

• 3rd to 6th-semester undergraduate students (S1)
• Enrolled in TUAF during the program

Required Documents

1. Curriculum Vitae
2. Motivation Letter
3. Official Academic Transcript
4. Study Plan
5. Letter of Enrollment from AEP-TUAF
6. Letter of Nomination from the AEP (addressed to the director of Advanced Education Program office - TUAF)
7. English Language Proficiency (TOEFL – ITP, iBT or IELTS or internal IELTS is accepted)
8. Colored Copy of Passport
9. An application checklist (after nomination)

Application Procedure

1. Register by filling in information. https://forms.gle/SFQMMVNXkuxSG4B19
2. AEP staff will evaluate your application.
3. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, the AEP will send your official nomination to National Tsing Hua University. You may proceed to the online application for host-university selection.
4. The FINAL decision from National Tsing Hua University.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• In the meantime, the students must keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Advanced Education Program office.
• Application of outgoing mobility for fall/odd semester in AY 2022/2023 will be processed, but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government regulation.
