On February 20, 2023, the introduction of DAAD scholarship programs (master, doctor, ...) was took place at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
The introduction session was attended by representatives of DAAD Hanoi office, the Rector of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, representatives of Advanced Programs office - TUAF, also lecturers and students of TUAF.
The DAAD is an association of German institutions of higher education and their student bodies. Convening in a general assembly, they elect the Executive Committee which oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations.
In 2021, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports well over 135,000 German and international students and researchers around the globe – making it the world's largest funding organization of its kind.
DAAD scholarships are aimed primarily at graduates, doctoral students and postdocs and are awarded for study and research visits to universities and non-university research institutions in Germany. In some programs, internships are also funded.

At the end of the program, there was a speech of thanks from Mr. Rector Nguyen Hung Quang, and a souvenir exchange between Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and DAAD to celebrate a successful working session.
