SEMINAR ON BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION - OPPORTUNITIES AT DEAKIN UNIVERSITY

On October 16, 2024, a seminar led by Dr. Carla Archibald from Deakin University took place in Meeting Room A3 at the Central House, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry. This seminar focused on research regarding the impact of agriculture on biodiversity.

Dr. Archibald, an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Fellow at Deakin University, discussed her groundbreaking research on the biodiversity footprint of Australia's agricultural sector. Her work examines the effects of agricultural activities on over 1,300 species and seeks to explore opportunities to promote biodiversity conservation within the agricultural field.

In her presentation, Dr. Archibald also provided detailed insights into nature-related risks in the agricultural sectors of China and Vietnam, while outlining research opportunities at Deakin University in fields such as Marine Science, Environmental Science, Wildlife Conservation, and more.

This seminar was a great opportunity for students interested in study abroad programs in Australia and those passionate about Environmental Science and Management.
