This exchange program is ideal for students passionate about statistics, AI, programming, mathematics, and applied mathematics, especially those interested in pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. at the Mathematical Modeling Laboratory in the future (if they are not currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program).

Requirements:

• Applicants must be full-time students at a partner university of Kyushu University, including Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
• Applicants must have an outstanding academic record at their institution (GPA of 3.2 or higher).
• Applicants must be full-time students at their home institution after completing this program. (Graduation or completion of their regular degree program during this exchange is not permitted.)
• Applicants must meet additional requirements set by the host laboratory or host faculty.
• English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 80 or higher, IELTS 6.0 or higher, Cambridge English CEFR B2 or higher, or an English Certificate showing that English is the primary medium of instruction at the applicant's university.
• Japanese proficiency: JLPT N2 or higher.

Scholarship: ¥80,000/month; Exchange duration from 1 to 3 months (starting in February or March 2025)
