On June 11, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) had the honor of welcoming Mr. Hideto Kawamura – representative of the Kochi Forestry Association (Japan) – as part of a program promoting international exchange and cooperation in the field of forestry.

During the meeting, both sides shared insights into the current development of the forestry sector in Vietnam and Japan, and expressed their mutual interest in strengthening the connection between academic training and practical experience on an international scale. Mr. Hideto Kawamura especially praised the expertise, eagerness to learn, and adaptability of TUAF students – promising qualities for future internship opportunities in Japan.
