This year, we welcomed the delegates from Hiroshima University with excitement, laughter, and friendly competition, alongside students from AEP and GIRC. Participants were challenged through six different challenges to test their ability to communicate, socialize, solve problems and work as a team despite just knowing each other for the first time.  

Excitement begins by forming all players into six teams, each made up of seven members with assigned distinct colors, such as green, orange, purple, yellow, blue and red. It officially began by challenging each team to brainstorm a creative name and design for their flag. Game masters give a riddle after the teams have finished each task to find their next task.

The teams raced against the clock, putting in all their efforts and competitiveness as they made their way through all six stations. All volunteers and faculty are gathered in the guest house where the finish line is located—the excitement continued as the volunteers splashed water at all the teams who finished all the challenges.

We gathered all at the finish line for the final ceremony and there was an enthusiastic eagerness everywhere when the announcement of each team's ranking was made. But the celebrations have barely begun— water all over the place! The participants threw water at each other, making the last part of the ceremony a very memorable experience for everyone. As the laughter and excitement and playful chaos died down, everyone had made new friends and deepened the connections they'd made that day.

The Aqua Fest Amazing Race 2026 ended with everyone leaving with very unforgettable memories and friendship beyond borders.
