On April 28, international students of the Advanced Education Program, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry had an extracurricular activity to visit the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures in Thai Nguyen. Vietnam Museum of Ethnic Cultures is a cultural institution built in 1960, with the original name Viet Bac Museum. In 1990, it changed its name to Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups and became one of the 7 National Museums of Vietnam.

At museum international students had the opportunity to learn about the culture of the ethnic groups in Vietnam: the traditional costumes, traditional dishes, customs and daily life of the ethnic groups (Tay, Thai, Nung, Giay, Lao, Lu, San Chay, Bo,...)

Vera, a German exchange student, excitedly shared: "I've always wanted to visit the museum before, but never had the chance. This tour was fun and interesting, we understood so much more about Vietnam. Thank you AEP for organizing this activity for our international students".

Hopefully this tour will be a memory for foreign students to understand more about the country and Vietnamese people.
